“Sounds Great” concert
Enjoy classical music from the movies LIVE

Classical Music from the movies
Great classical music never fails to move – especially in the cinema! A clever choice of classical music in a movie can work magic in drawing audiences into the world of the characters on screen, whether during a scene of romance, tension, grief or hilarity. In this 5th installment of Hong Kong Sinfonietta’s Sounds Great movie music series, Artist Associate/ Conductor Jason Lai and the orchestra will play a selection of classical masterpieces used in movies. The programme includes Richard Strauss’s Also sprach Zarathustra: Introduction (2001: A Space Odyssey); Debussy’s Clair de Lune (Twilight); Mahler’s Symphony No 5: Adagietto (Death in Venice); Wagner’s Ride of the Valkyries (Apocalypse Now) and more. The concert will also feature John Williams’ Star Wars & Theme from Schindler’s List. Not to be missed! (The concert will be presented in English)
